About Me

Hi I’m Ian Dearman,

I am a father of 3 girls and based in Nottinghamshire. I love film making, wildlife, gaming, mountain biking and canoeing.

I have been a wedding film story teller for over 10 years now and I have experienced all sorts of weddings. What binds these weddings together is the amazing couples who have let me open a window into there lives and families for the day.

My approach to capturing a wedding is to be discreet and relaxed as possible. I want you and your guests to have an amazing wedding day without the fuss of lots of posed shots. To truly tell the story of a wedding couples big day you have to let everyone be themselves which allows me to capture more natural shots.

I use the latest cameras and equipment that is small and light. This is so that its unobtrusive that after to move around letting me focus on the composition and lighting of a shot without being held back by camera gear.

For me it’s important to get to know my couples and families so that I know what’s important to you from your wedding shoot. I love to tell your wedding story and I can’t wait to work with you to tell yours.
